When you take adventurous trips in life you never experience the full side of them until they are over. We get caught up with everything that is going on during and really don’t just sit back, kick it and take it in sometimes. B.C.I rocked another group trip to Western Maryland a few weeks ago and for the most part we kicked it. We were able to get onto new water and into great fish. When we go on these week-long trips and fish so much water the stories and reports can be endless. This post will be filled with mostly pictures to tell the story. We hope you enjoy.

Steve-O, Adam, and KG crashed on the banks of the Savage for a few nights before the entire crew rolled in. Weather was perfect and camp food was even better.

The Savage fish well but did not spend a lot of time there. We caught fish primarily on nymphs and a few on small dry’s. KG did have a first on the Savage when he caught a nice 12” Cutthroat. The fish must have come out of the North Branch and made its way up the Savage where he hooked into it. He was pumped and for him that was his fish of the trip.

The bugs were coming off just like the Hatch Charts say they do. The best hook up on a dry was Steve-O when he nailed an amazing Brown Trout on the North Branch.

The beer drinking was expected and we had a nice selection, but always have to take a few PBR’s on hand.

We fished new water and for now we will call it River X for extremely good.

The North Branch is always fun to run but when you have Adam and Steve-O giving a play by play of KG, Ryan and Greg it gets even better. About the same time Ryan decides to hook into one of the nicest fish we have caught out of the NB.

This was the 3rd fish caught out of that run. We caught a lot of fish from the NB even though we got a tip that the fishing was slow……………ARGO!

This section was a waste of time, no fish anywhere in the North Branch.

Water was a little tight in areas to run a rig but we did it and well worth it.

The last day was nothing liked the guys planned. Ryan had some rig problems and left with Greg. Steve-O, Adam, and KG decided to just chill and check some things out. They didn’t even pick rods up that day but instead explored new access area, chilled on the Garrett Bridge out on the Savage and watch the white water release. Can’t forget the go-cart riding that the guys turned into a demolition derby. The best part of the day was when the 3 kicked it the only way they new “B.C.I STYLE” on their last night.
