June Fly of the Month and Brookie Teaser

This month’s fly is the Flashback Pheasant Tail.  It was the most productive fly of our trip and we filmed a little video on how to tie it while we were experiencing that now infamous Rain Day.  Tie a bunch up, they just work!

Once the rain stopped, the clouds parted, and the sun came out on Saturday… and once some of the hang over wore off, we spent some time on one of our brookie streams where I was able to get some footage for our Brookie Film.  Below is a quick little trailer type thing of this film we’re just starting to put together.  The look an feel is exactly what we want, we just need to shoot a lot more to tell our story of fishing for the our favorite fish, the Eastern Brook Trout in Central Appalachia.
